Exterminator Rapid
is the first rapid encountered on the West Branch of the Penobscot River in
Maine. Rated Class4-5 there is a hugh hydraulic waiting to munch you and many
a boat has flipped here only to swim the rest of Ripogenus Gorge. The front
of the raft is aiming strait up at the cliffs and sky above. Image made on
