Joni Goodman was a member of
the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe from White Mesa which is just south of Blanding
Utah. Joni adopted me many years ago as a brother and I always looked forward
to surprising her with a visit to the reservation where she lived and she
always made me feel very welcome. I made this image in Allen Canyon as she
was telling me a story. Image was made with a Hasselblad Camera on Ektachrome
100 film.
