I made this image on a 16 Day scallop fishing trip I went on off the coast of New York and New Jersey on the boat Alpha and Omega. At times the competition for the best fishing could result in close encounters. The trip was a personal journey to document scallop fishing at the time and to try and connect with my ancestors. Image was made with a Nikon F3 and Ektachrome 100 film.
