Cape Breton is a large island located
at the tip on Nova Scotia in Canada. A dramatic coastline at northern latitudes
makes for some late sunsets on. Many people think this scene is of a large
area but it's only about a 30x30 foot area of limestone polished by the sea
and time. This image is about a 10 minute time exposure made as the sun was
going down just before 10 pm. with a Deardorff View camera on 5x7 Ektachrome
film.
