Silver Grotto is located just after
mile 29 on the river. There is a series of slides and pools that lead to the
last pool easily accessible just beyond this view. The grotto is cut from
Redwall Limestone, which is the rock formation that gave Marble Canyon it's
name even though the rock is actually not marble. Silver Grotto is a great
place for a group to bond as it usually takes team work to enjoy the marvels
within. Image made with a Hasselblad camera on Ektachrome 100 film.
