Parashant Canyon is just past mile
198.5. With Lava Falls behind it's time to relax and take it easy. This canyon
is a place of power on many levels for me. On this trip I was at a place called
the Book of Worms when it started to rain and I took shelter there. After
the rain I headed back to camp for dinner when a Rainbow appeared on the other
side of the Colorado river. Then the whole place began to glow and I practically
threw my 35 mm camera to the ground to put my Hasselblad camera on the tripod
to make this image and shoot it on Ektachrome 100 film.
