North Canyon is at about mile 20.5
on the river and a favorite camp of river runners. Carved out of Redwall limestone
is actually silver in color and not of marble as the name Marble Canyon suggests
and can get quite polished by erosion. This image was taken late in the day
looking down a series of pools toward the main canyon. Image made with a Hasselblad
