Granite Rapid is located about river mile 92.5 at Monument Creek and is some 5 miles below Phantom Ranch. It's a thrilling ride down Granite with the big waves crashing all around. Image taken Late in the afternoon in April with a flow about 6500 cfs. Image made with a Hasselblad camera on Ektachrome 100 film.
