Elves Chasm at about river mile 116.5
and is one of the out standing sites in the canyon. There are a series of
waterfalls and this one is the first, not far from the Colorado river. Not
only a feast for the eyes, it's fun to swim and jump into the pools and is
so refreshing after a hot day on the river. If you listen close you can hear
the elves giggling. Image is a 1 second exposure taken in August and made
with a Hasselblad camera on Ektachrome 100 film..
