Glacial Lilies are among the first to bloom often seen poking through melting snow banks in the mountains of the higher elevations. I photographed these flowers along the 4th of July trail near Diamond Lake in the Indian Peaks Wilderness in Colorado. This view shot in June with a Hasselblad camera and Ektachrome 100 film.
