The Raceway is located in the northern
section of Death Valley National Park in California. It's called the Raceway
because the rocks move across the dry lake bed at times for long distances.
The moving rocks are well documented although no one has seen the rocks move
and the actual mechanism for the movement still hasn't been proven, though
it's thought the wind moves them when conditions allow. Photograph made with
a Hasselblad Camera on Kodak Ektachrome 100 film.
