Great Sand Dunes National Monument
is located near Alamosa in central southern Colorado. This image was taken
in October after a storm passed through which created the sand patterns. The
patterns are accentuated from the angle of the afternoon sun. Photograph made
with a Hasselblad Camera on Kodak Ektachrome 100 film.
