Windy Ridge is located on the flank
of Mount Bross in Colorado near Alma. On the east side is a grove of Bristlecone
Pines that are said to be up to a 1000 years old . These trees seem as if
dancing and shows how the prevailing winds affect the them. They grow under
very harsh conditions very slowly into magnificent trees. Image taken in July
with a Hasselblad camera and Ektachrome 100 film.
